East Galway Adult Learning Centre, Loughrea

Overview of Service / Programmes & Certification Offered:

• We provide Classes in Reading, Writing, Spelling and Maths to adult learners
• ESOL at Beginner Level to Migrant Workers
• Family Learning Programmes to Parents of Children between the ages of 0 and 6

Target Group:

• All Adults over 18 years.
• Parents who may lack confidence in helping their children with learning.
• We provide Literacy Support to Special Needs Centres.

Resources & Expertise Available:

• Trained Volunteer Tutors and Paid Part/Time Tutors.
• A library for all adult learners is available at the Centre.
• Access to Adult Guidance & Counselling Service.

Certification

• Accreditation is an option for participants.

Outreach Facilities:

Ballinasloe / Craughwell / Athenry / Mountbellew / Moylough

Times / months available:

Both Day Time and Evening Monday to Friday.
Courses and times are arranged to suit participants.
Closed: Months of July & August
