Target Group
Cuan Mhuire is a Rehabilitation Centre for those suffering from addictions. Many people who come to us seeking help come from subjective backgrounds. Education levels may vary.
Resources & Expertise Available
Here in Cuan Mhuire we offer a 12-week detoxification and rehabilitation programme for those suffering from alcoholism and other addictions. We provide 24 hour nursing care to our residents and also have a number of qualified addiction counsellors on site. Our programme consists of group therapy, work therapy, one to one counselling, meditation & spiritual exercises, A.A. meetings. In addition to this where possible we encourage our residents to avail of the opportunity to develop new skills and participate in further education, thus preparing them to obtain suitable gainful employment after they leave the centre having completed their program.
