Brief History / Background
In 1966 Gairmscoil Fheichín Naofa was officially opened by the late Donagh O'Malley, the then Minister of Education. In years that have since passed, the school has catered admirably for the second level education needs of the region better known as Dúiche Sheoigheach.

School Tour to Munich & Salzburg 2007
On Thursday 29th March a group of 14 Bliain 4 Students and 2 Teachers travelled to Munich on a European School Trip. They returned early on Tuesday morning, 3rd April after an exciting and extremely interesting trip, tired but happy. The group was accompanied by 17 Students and 2 Teachers from Scoil Phobal Mhic Dara, Carna.
